I thought I should write and give a quick update.
JR: He has gone on two High Adventures. First, He went down by Sisters on a 50 mile backpack trip. He said the scenery is spectacular. His feet on the other hand...YUCK! They have blisters with blisters inside.
His next adventure was kayaking up by the San Juan Island's. He saw seals and porpoises. He wants to vacation there again to show us all of natures beauties.
Elizabeth: She is her mother's girl; she has the same messed up teeth. She had to visit the dentist to have a tooth pulled because we couldn't get it out at home. She had her baby tooth stuck between her permanent front tooth that had grown in over it when it came in and the permanent tooth that was suppose to take its place, but grew in behind it. (Run on sentence!) Anyway, she was so brave and the tooth was out in no time with professional help. Thank you Dr. Perkins!
Rachel and Hannah: I hate grouping the girls together, but they have the same exciting news. While Dad was away we decided to go buy them bikes. They loved trying the bikes out in the store. I think they almost ran over a few costumers.
Karen: Speaking of the bikes brings me to my news. Oh, I wish I had a video of this. About a week ago, we were walking over to have dinner with another friend's whose dad was on High Adventure. Hannah was trying to open the door to get shoes on to go. I was explaining how to twist the handle. Of course, I was doing that while walking backwards pulling the wagon with the food we were bringing for dinner. The next thing I know I have tripped over one bike. I land on top of another bike. I sure that if anyone was watching they were getting a good laugh. SO, I land in a big heap. I just happen to be wearing those lovely wedge sandals that are popular this summer. That's great for fashion, bad for ankles. My foot twisted so hard that it ripped part of the straps out and cut into my foot. I scared my girls and just sat there and cried for a few minutes. (I'm a yeller, not a cryer. The crying unnerved them). Then I realized no one was coming to my rescue and I needed to regroup. I of course got up and continued on to dinner at my friend's. We laughed pretty hard at how clumsy I was. By the end of dinner, my foot was purple and swollen and I realized I might have actually hurt myself. The good news is I have had two Drs., Dr. Bowen and Dr. King (Thanks for the house call!!), look at it and it is only a soft tissue injury. After a week of rest and LOTS of help from friends I am on the road to recovery.
Now, I must hurry so I can have something to write for my next entry "O2BNSV"

I am so sorry I was not there to help. I feel so bad. I hope the ankle is feeling better. Have fun on your vacation this coming week.
First of all, love your page layout. 2nd, I hear you about the teeth, my kids have Todd's side. I'm so happy the girls love their bikes. ALL kids need fun bikes. And last, I didn't know that's how you hurt your foot. That is horrible! Was the dinner ruined? J/K. I hope you are feeling better soon!
I hope your ankle is okay, but that was such a funny story!! I would have loved to see that on video.
