Okay, here is the update. I have gotten off my butt a couple of times this week. The best news is I have my biggest ally on my side, JR. He helps motivate me to exercise. He even is bold enough to tell me "You don't want to eat that. You will regret it." I am cautiously optimistic. I am not quite ready to commit to run in the Starlight Run, but hopefully I will get there.
I was inspired by Mandi this week on Biggest Loser. She's in the process of going from a size 26 to a size 2, and losing 150 lbs. WOW! I only want to drop maybe 2 sizes. I shouldn't get discouraged. If Mandi can do it, I should be able to reach my goal.

You go Karen!!!! When do you want to go running? And no I'm not going to give up anytime soon.
Good for you! I told the kids about the cake you are making for Mom's B-day, don't go low cal on that!
I haven't read your blog for awhile, but now that you're back to being a regular writer, I will return to being a regular reader! Good luck with your weight loss -- it is my never ending battle. Lose all the weight you want while you're still young; when you're my age it only comes off with a chisel!
Keep it up Karen. I'm cheering for you too!
Weight loss is a battle definitely, but husbands always know the right things to say to keep us motivated huh?
