So, lately, I have been thinking I should have a category on the blog called "Not Deep Thoughts". I seem to have a lot of them that I, for some reason, feel like sharing with the world. This is definitely one of them.
Every since I was a child I have dreamed of owning a dog. Well, not just any dog but a Husky. They are beautiful animals. I have seen quite a few lately and have thought about my dream. BUT I know I will never own one thanks to Luke.
Luke was JR's dog when he was a child. Luke was a beautiful Husky. Luke was a very, very, Very poorly behaved dog. Luke would run off. He chewed up shoes. He flunked out of obedience school. Luke even, more than once, ate the main dish on a special holiday (the turkey on Thanksgiving, brisket on my mother-in-law's birthday, etc...) In the end, JR came home one day from school and Luke was gone. Thanks to that experience JR will never have a Husky again and with that my dream dies.
(Okay, my sister points out we have allregies in our family and can't have anything with fur or feathers. BUT, I never let facts stand in the way of a good story)
